Stroke Research Network

The Stroke Research Network is Germany's national network of doctors, self-help associations, scientists and relevant organizations.

As an information platform, the network aims to achieve further advances in combating stroke by encouraging close cooperation and networking at all levels of health care provision and medical research.

• Patients and their families will find information on strokes and their symptoms, risk factors, possibilities of treatment and prevention, patients' experience and useful links to self-help organizations.
• Health professionals, doctors and scientists will find consensus recommendations on the prevention and acute treatment of stroke; links to other hospitals, industrial companies and libraries; information on the network; dates of conferences and training events as well as information material for patients.
• Registered members of the Stroke Research Network are offered access to databases and opportunities for internal exchange of experience and protected data transfer.
